Groundskeeper

• Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance: 
  • Mow, trim, and edge lawns. 
  • Prune shrubs, trees, and hedges. 
  • Plant, water, and care for flowers and greenery. 
  • Remove weeds, leaves, and debris from grounds.
• Yard and Facility Cleaning:
  • Sweep and pressure-wash sidewalks, docks, and outdoor areas.
  • Clear pathways of debris and maintain safe access for employees and visitors.
  • Remove litter and other waste from all outdoor spaces.
•  Waste Management:
  • Empty trash and recycling bins regularly. 
  • Properly dispose of all waste and monitor recycling practices.
• Equipment and Supplies:
  • Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment.
  • Perform minor repairs and report issues requiring professional servicing.
  • Keep an inventory of necessary supplies and notify management of needs.
•  Safety and Compliance:
  • Follow all safety guidelines and environmental regulations. 
  • Monitor for hazards and report any concerns to management.

 Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or maintenance is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of gardening tools and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to operate lawn mowers, trimmers, and other power tools safely.
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing repetitive tasks.

 Work Environment:

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and humidity.
• Work near water and on uneven surfaces.
• Exposure to noise from equipment and tools.
• Occasional weekend or holiday work may be required.
