We are looking for exceptional people to fill our high functioning LVN positions

Position Summary:
We are a Specialty office with 2 locations one in Monterey and another in Salinas. We serve patients from all over the Tri-County area. We pride ourselves in providing the patient with excellent care and improvement in their quality of life. Our LVNs are at the forefront of our Patient Care team and an important part of the health care process.
  • LVN's take the lead in patient care and protocol implementation.
  • Lead a team of MA's in testing patients and explaining treatments and treatment processes.

Duties:
  • Read and interpret doctors orders correctly to perform procedures and educate patients.
  • Assure prompt patient flow by coordinating the flow of patients, ensure efficient use of the facility and nurse time.
  • Triage patients over the phone.
  • Restock all clinical areas daily.
  • Maintain and manage inventory of medications, medical supplies, and follow all procedures regarding outdated medications.
  • Maintain clean clinical areas and abide by all clinical state guidelines and requirements.
  • Maintain current valid certifications.
  • Rotate between both our Monterey and Salinas Offices.
  • Answer phones, check messages and make call backs daily.
  • Maintain crash cart, and know response plan for clinic emergencies.
  • Perform various clerical functions as assigned by the Office/Clinic Manager or Executive Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must respond sympathetically and maturely to patient needs.
  • Must be neat and professional in appearance.
  • Detail oriented and well organized.
  • Computer literate (i.e., be familiar with an EMR).
  • LVN Lic, graduate from college or technical school.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and in stressful situations and must be able to work quickly when business conditions warrant.
  • Must rotate to Salinas and Monterey
  • Attendance and reliability must be of high importance to candidate.
  • Bilingual Preferred - Bilingual Pay Differential.

LVN's that demonstrate a high level of acuity and understanding after training will be considered for a Nursing Management Position.
