Advantage Car Rental is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT/Tech Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position will be based at our headquarters in Orlando, with responsibilities encompassing technical support for our corporate locations. As an integral part of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure. Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripherals.
  • Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions across different platforms.
  • Respond to IT support tickets and help desk inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and security of IT systems.
  • Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to resolve technical issues.
  • Assist in planning and implementing IT projects and upgrades.
  • Document IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
 Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Solid understanding of computer systems, networks, and other related technologies.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.
  • Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and cloud-based services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience with rental management systems, particularly in the car rental industry, is highly desirable.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are advantageous.
