Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Science Instructor to join our team and lead our Data Science bootcamp. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Data Science, including both front-end and back-end components, and be capable of guiding students through the entire bootcamp curriculum from start to finish. A strong background in Data Science and relevant work experience is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop a comprehensive Data Science bootcamp curriculum covering all essential topics, including data analysis, machine learning, data visualization, and more.
  • Deliver engaging and effective lectures, workshops, and hands-on sessions to students of varying skill levels.
  • Provide one-on-one support and mentorship to students, helping them understand complex concepts and complete projects.
  • Evaluate student progress through assessments, projects, and regular feedback.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Data Science to ensure the curriculum remains current and relevant.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall bootcamp experience.
  • Contribute to the development of supplementary learning materials and resources.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Data Science, with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
  • Deep understanding of front-end and back-end Data Science, including data analysis, machine learning, data visualization, statistical modeling, and more.
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Experience in developing and delivering educational content, preferably in a bootcamp or similar intensive learning environment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and tools commonly used in Data Science, such as Python, R, SQL, and relevant libraries and frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
  • A passion for teaching and helping students achieve their career goals.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Data Science Instructor or in a similar educational role.
  • Industry experience in Data Science, demonstrating practical application of skills in a professional setting.
