Come work for Marin County’s Premier Day Camp & Overnight Boarding Facility Help us provide a fun-filled, healthy alternative to traditional dog care. As a kind, responsible, full-time dog handler, you will supervise, care for and play with our canine guests. Caring for dogs in a group setting entails friendly team collaboration, robust personal initiative and tons of hard yet satisfying work. Lots of cleaning Hustle, grit, and outdoor enthusiasm are essential.
Camp K-9 of Marin is an inclusive community committed to full-service Camper comfort and safety. Our industry leading team is deeply committed to animal welfare and customer satisfaction – which requires a very flexible schedule, working weekends and some holiday duty (our busiest times).
Rest assured, Camp advancement opportunities abound: promotion to Lead Counselor; specialized training in dog behavior and continuing education in animal care.

Camp Counselor Responsibilities:
- Supervising Group Play & One-on-One Sessions
- Feeding Meals & Administering Medications
- Potty Walks & Light Grooming
- Cleaning Nap Rooms, Washing Dishes
- General Maintenance Chores
Requirements:
- At least 18 years old & Able to Lift 50 lbs
- Comfortable Humanely Handling All Types of Dogs
- Capable of Being Physically Active During Entire Shift
- Skilled Working both Independently and Part of a Team

- Patient, Positive & Prompt
Good communication skills and a sense of humor will take you far in this position
