Overview: Epic Resolute Professional Billing and Epic Resolute Professional Billing Claims certified specialist experienced in working with Revenue Cycle operations teams and end users within organization and other outside parties as necessary to trouble shoot build issues, operational issues and other technical issues.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Epic Revenue Cycle Management billing experience including but not limited to focusing on data reporting from business objects and data analysis.  
  • Ability to identify build issues, operational issues and other technical issues.
  • Participate in initiatives by gathering and analyzing information, preparing structured documentation, and presentations of findings and general troubleshooting, as necessary.
  • Complete assigned team tasks as part of the RCM team
  • Ensures that each area of responsibility meets its operational objectives.
  • Directs, aligns, and oversees ongoing operational strategies, policies, objectives, and initiatives with assigned RCM teams. 
  • Recognizes, adopts, and implements best practices and metrics to obtain desired strategic and tactical results. 
  • Collaborates to establish direction and enhance alliances to accomplish strategic results.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Models strong and effective interpersonal communication and change management skills within organization and with external customers. 
  • Leads, directs, and mentors others while inspiring them to develop and reach farther.
  • Provides business perspective (i.e., potential operations issues) that result from client issues/obligations.
  • Works collaboratively with other departments to achieve desired results.
  • Establishes revenue cycle reporting requirements to meet the needs and expectations of all constituencies and ensures timely reporting of revenue cycle performance through collaboration with appropriate information sources.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
 Qualifications:
  • Experience 5+ years healthcare experience in a Revenue Cycle Systems Manager/Analyst role. 
  • Certification in Epic Resolute Professional Billing and Epic Professional Billing Claims required. 
  • Additional certifications in Epic Benefits Engine Resolute Hospital Billing Claims and Remittances or HB Reimbursement Contracts or Revenue Integrity are preferred.
  • Previous experience in the design, planning and implementation of billing information systems preferred. 
  • Healthcare experience in other acute care settings preferred as well. 
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree. 

Experience may substitute for minimum education requirement.
