Direct Care Aide-Fall River

The Home Assistance Programs offer daily assistance with the physical and social needs of elders and disabled adults living in designated housing units.  For persons at risk of institutionalization, the Home Assistance Programs (HAP) provide important community living options that recognize and preserve the independence and good health of persons requiring supervision.  Care is provided by Certified Nursing Assistants and other professionally trained direct care aides.

Our Home Assistance Program is currently looking for part-time direct care aides (CNA/HHA) in the Fall River, MA area. We are offering up to 25 flexible hours per week, Monday - Sunday 7 am - on, will vary. Daytime shifts only.

Job Duties:
  • Direct Care Aides monitor the placement status in the home and provide assistance with the participant's daily living needs as directed by a plan of care ensuring that personal care services are provided on a daily basis.
  • Duties may include: cleaning and general housekeeping, assisting with shopping, provide ongoing supervision of the participant's health-related activities.

Education and Experience:
  • The ideal applicant must have successfully completed a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and/or Home Health Aide (HHA) training program and possess a certificate of course completion and/or a valid license.
  • Equivalent training or experience could be substituted for certification/licensure.

This position does not include benefits.
