Our salon is a hub of creativity and client satisfaction, and we're currently looking for a Salon Receptionist Manager to be the welcoming face and managerial backbone of our establishment.

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and charismatic individual to join us as a Salon Receptionist and Manager. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and an experience that exceeds their expectations. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the salon’s reputation through excellent customer care, effective team management, and innovative marketing strategies including managing our social media presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the salon's front desk.
  • Manage, schedule, and train reception and stylist assistant staff.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve any issues with a professional and positive attitude.
  • Handle client bookings, payments, and inquiries with proficiency in salon management software.
  • Develop and implement sales techniques to promote salon services and products.
  • Manage inventory and order front desk supplies as needed.
  • Maintain an organized and clean reception area.
  • Create engaging content and manage the salon's social media platforms to increase visibility and attract new clients.
  • Develop and oversee marketing campaigns, both online and offline.
  • Analyze sales figures, monitor client feedback, and report on front desk productivity to the owner.
  • Collaborate with the owner and other team members to set and reach sales targets and business goals.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within a salon/spa environment.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including POS software and Microsoft Office Suite. Meevo Salon booking system will be trained.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and marketing strategies.
  • Sales-driven mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment and keep yourself motivated in a slower paced environment
  • Experience in creating and managing a budget is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work during peak salon hours, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration, Hospitality or related field is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer service management role.
  • Certification or experience in beauty industry management is highly desirable.
