Job Title: Swimming Instructor.Division/Department: Athletics.Reports to: Fitness Director.Location: The Pacific Club.
Job Details:
- Hiring for a trained American Red Cross swimming instructor or swim instructor with an equivalent certification to offers children and adults private swim lessons.
- Lessons range in length from 30 min to 1 hour. Lessons may be private or semi-private and include up to 2 students.
- We are looking for an on-call instructor.
- Must be proficient in teaching all strokes. Student levels range from beginner to intermediate.
- Must have a current instructor certification and CPR certification.
- Additional lifeguard certification is preferred but not required.
- Required to work two shifts per week. Preferably on Saturday, Tuesday or Thursday. By appointment only.
- Flexible scheduling. Competitive pay.
- Hiring Immediately.
- We support a DRUG-FREE work environment. Passing a drug pre-screening test is required for hiring.
Licenses and Certificates:
- CPR Certification
- Experience teaching swimming lessons is highly preferred
- A Lifeguard Certification and/or WSI Training (Water Safety Instructor certification) is highly preferred.
Pay range: $23 per hour. Non-exempt. By appointment only.
Shift Availability: Saturday Shift
(Additional hours vary depending on time and duration of appointments).
