Precast Laborer 2

Essential Functions

• All responsibilities of Laborer 1
• Expert knowledge on operation of 2 areas
• Working knowledge of 1 additional area, or concentration in difficult area
• Assist in quality inspections
• Assist in production reporting and production controls
• Able to change over forms between products without assistance
• Able to make minor repairs to forms and structures as needed
• Certification to operate forklift to assist in plant operations
• Lead work area by example and train other employees
• Communicate effectively to supervisor regarding change overs and additional tasks

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 

Work Environment 

• Work performed in a concrete plant with varying temperatures. 
• Some work required outdoors in weather conditions.

Physical Demands 

• Must be able to lift and/or maneuver around a facility and grounds a minimum of 50lbs. throughout the workday, as required 
• Load/unload/carry materials and tools multiple times throughout the workday 
• Must be able to perform the essential duties of the job efficiently and safely 
• Must be able to work flexible hours as necessary. Some Saturday work possible 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Occasional early morning, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. 

Required Education and Experience 

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Related work experience
