Our client has a need for a Nuclear Planner- Electrical. If you have the background we are looking for, and you are interested in an opportunity to get your foot in the door with a leading company, we want to talk with you  This company is also offering $178/day per diem as long as you qualify and 40 hours of sick time. 

Description:

The role involves planning and coordinating various maintenance, corrective, and surveillance activities related to electrical systems. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, supporting technical assignments, and maintaining high standards of performance.

Job Description:

  • Develop detailed work instructions for the repair, maintenance, and modification of electrical equipment, adhering to engineering principles and organizational standards.
  • Plan daily tasks for both online and outage scenarios using approved software and procedures.
  • Review completed work orders and test procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Provide technical support to craft personnel and contribute to the maintenance of equipment history files.
  • Participate in Emergency Plan Organization and Corrective Action Program activities as assigned.
  • Perform duties in potentially hazardous environments, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Complete assigned tasks as required by the role, contributing to team goals and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements for Nuclear Planner:

  • Education: Associate degree in a physical science or engineering discipline, or equivalent technical training or experience.
  • Work Experience: Basic proficiency in computer skills, including word processing and database programs. Familiarity with electrical systems preferred.
  • Nuclear Plant Electrical Planning Experience
  • Maximo Experience
  • Must be able to perform plant walkdowns
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Availability for shift work and occasional travel as needed.
Minimum Requirements for Nuclear Planner, Sr.:

  • Education and Work Experience: Similar to Nuclear Planner, with a minimum of one year of relevant experience and completion of specific training programs.
  • Responsibilities may include additional supervisory duties and adherence to higher-level operational standards.
Minimum Requirements for Nuclear Planner, Prin:

  • Education and Work Experience: Similar to Nuclear Planner, Sr., with a minimum of four years of relevant experience and advanced proficiency in work control planning processes.
  • Responsibilities may include leadership in planning activities, software proficiency, and effective communication with various organizational groups.
Physical Demands:

  • Requirements include ladder and scaffolding use, confined space entry, exposure to radiation and high temperatures, and working in high-noise environments.
