Boomtown Therapy is currently seeking a skilled virtual speech-language pathologist to join our team of professionals working in the schools for the current school year with the possibility of extending to the 24-25 school year.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services
  • Develop and implement individual treatment plans and interventions to improve students' communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate strategies and accommodations to support students’ speech and language needs
  • Providing feedback and recommendations to parents and teachers about the results of the assessments
  • Collaborating with other members of the education team, including teachers, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of assessments
  • Keeping up-to-date with best practices, research, and trends in the field of speech and language pathology

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Texas state license speech-language pathology
  • ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) Certification
  • Experience working in school settings is preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
