Line Cook

Essential Functions:
pre-prepare items required for the workstation according to par sheets or instructions from the executive chef and sous chef. Prepare products assigned to his/her workstation during service.

Additional Responsibilities:

• prepares meats, seafood, vegetables, and other items required for line and special function purposes.
• Carefully follow standard recipes when pre-preparing and preparing all items
• Uses food preparation equipment according to manufacturers' instructions 
• Cleans workstation and equipment 
• Returns unused food products to proper food storage areas. 
• Assists with the preparation of other food products on the serving line as needed.
• Consistently uses safe and sanitary food handling procedures 
• Returns soiled food preparation utensils and other small ware items to the proper areas. 

Schedule:

• Must be available for a variety of shifts including weekdays, holidays, weekends, and nights. 

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)
