FOCUS POINT Behavioral Health in Wicomico County and Somerset County, MD, is currently seeking Addictions Counselors (ADT, CSC or CAC ) recognized by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors. The position is 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH A GROWING COMPANY WITH LOCATIONS IN MARYLAND AND TEXAS.

Responsibilities:
  • The addictions counselor (CAC or CSC or ADT) will be responsible for the documentation of client progress notes, treatment plans, intake assessments, and correspondence with other community agencies to meet the needs of the clients, in addition to other various clinical duties.
  • Addictions Counselors (CAC or CSC or ADT) will be expected to complete group and individual sessions with clients to assist them with achieving recovery-focused goals.
  • The addictions counselor will be expected to maintain accurate and current records, must be highly organized, and must have at least average typing skills.
