We are looking for a skilled mobile phlebotomist with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude, to travel to specific locations to draw blood, collect urine specimens, get vitals, and record medical histories from life insurance applicants, and clinical trial testing.

We are looking for help in Toledo, Ohio, (Including Lucas & Wood counties of Ohio) with a focus on the area of your self-determined territory.
To be successful as a mobile phlebotomist, you should be detail-orientated and have a sound knowledge of standard blood drawing practices and safety protocols. Ultimately, an exceptional Mobile Phlebotomist should demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to carry out venipuncture procedures without causing injury to the patient.

This position has flexible hours:
You will schedule your work in the mornings, afternoons, weekends; or whatever hours you decide.

You will be asked to:
  • Travel to the proposed insured's home or work to get their vitals and draw their blood - possibly collect a urine sample, and obtain vitals and medical histories.
  • Process and get the blood samples ready to ship to the laboratory via FedEx
  • Schedule your appointments
  • Update daily notes on the computer

To do well in this position you will need 
  • Must have excellent Phlebotomy Skills
  • Be Detail Orientated, and follow through to the completion of the job
  • Must have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others
  • Be professional, and polite
  •  Have experience working with computers.
  •  Be attentive and accurate with detail orientation and commitment ensuring confidentiality

Requirements:
  • Certification in Phlebotomy / Medical Assistant with 1 year experience
  • Be able to obtain vitals
  • EKG Experience
  • Preferred Customer Service Experience ( 1 year)
  • Be willing to travel within a 25-mile radius of your home
  • Pass a Federal Background Check
  • PPE is required at all times when in contact with the client
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

Experience:
  • Phlebotomy: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Vitals.
  • EKG Experience.
  • Customer Service: 1 year. (Preferred)
