You will work onsite in our Holly Springs, NC location and will report to the Seqirus Head of Legal, Region Americas by supporting the legal needs of Seqirus in the Americas Region, including being the primary legal representative making independent recommendations for the Technical Operations, Quality and Procurement functions at all sites within the Americas Region. Responsibilities:

  • Provide general legal advice and counseling to clients located in the Region, with focus on the Holly Springs manufacturing site and the Technical Operations, Quality and Procurement functions.
  • Undertake the review and can provide independent guidance to the business concerning Quality related regulatory documentation and/or submissions.
  • Support the manufacturing site leadership teams in the Region and the Quality leadership team and Recall Committee.
  • Conduct risk assessments that substantiate recommendations, and provide independent advice on main matters, while determining appropriate actions to support the management decisions.
  • Offer business guidance to the Pandemic business and serves as their primary contracting resource with assistance from other Seqirus regions.
  • Be a final Legal authority on all contracting matters within the Region.
  • Provide Legal support for Medical Counter Measures (MCM). Work with business clients to provide strategic legal advice. Draft and negotiate all associated agreements for the MCM program.
  • Provide Ethics and Compliance advice, support and training to associates in the Manufacturing Sites in the Region. Support the Seqirus Head of Legal, Region Americas concerning Ethics and Compliance matters in the Region, including following up on complaints registered with the Company Whistleblower hotline.

Requirements:

  • Must have a Juris Doctorate
  • Minimum 4-5 years' experience in a similar legal role, law firm or in-house position
  • Experience supporting a Pharmaceutical or similar line of business
  • Prior experience in Integrity & Compliance and/or Data Privacy
  • Advanced contract drafting and negotiation skills required
  • Manage complex legal matters, understand and address client needs and prioritize when needed
  • Can work without input from others, but seek guidance when needed.
