We are offering a dynamic opportunity for a Physical Therapist to join our practice in Newnan, GA. Ideally, the incoming Physical Therapist has excellent communication and interpersonal skills with some clinical experience in a variety of settings (rehab, private practice). Additionally, the PT should be compassionate, patient-centered, and have a passion for helping others improve their physical well-being. Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability to different patient needs and conditions are also key qualities. Finally, a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices is essential.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform new-patient evaluations/exams
  • Diagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitations- Establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity
  • Create a plan that sets a goal and completion date- Prescribe intervention techniques and exercises
  • Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises; track progress and intervention effectiveness
  • Ensure smooth and timely patient flow in accordance with scheduled appointment times
  • Promptly and thoroughly document and maintain clinical and administrative records, including but not limited to, daily notes, weekly reports, initial evaluations, treatment progress and responses, and discharge summaries
  • Adhere to the company's guideline for billing of clinical and non-clinical services.
Requirements:
  • Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited school
  • PT license in GA
  • Outpatient and rehab -clinic experience preferred
Schedule:
  • Full time (Monday- Friday)
