Parts Inventory Coordinator

Rotating 12 hour shift 2/2/3

Role Context:
The Parts Inventory Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Maintenance Department by ensuring optimal inventory levels of all machinery, equipment, and facilities-related materials. This position supports efficient maintenance operations and helps uphold safety and quality standards.

Key Accountabilities & Deliverables:

  • Coordinate, organize, and maintain inventory for machinery and facilities maintenance parts.
  • Order, stock, and receive parts, ensuring accuracy in databases and effective vendor communication.
  • Procure supplies for maintenance projects.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and maintain records in Navision.
  • Conduct annual and cyclical inventory audits.
  • Follow all safety and GMP rules and regulations.
  • Ensure all tasks are performed safely and comply with required procedures.
  • Uphold and report on food safety and quality standards.
  • Complete special projects and other assigned duties as needed.

Skills & Experience Required:
Essential:

  • Experience in inventory control.
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of machine parts and nomenclature.

Qualifications Required:
Essential:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (further education preferred).
  • HACCP (Food Safety) and Food Quality education.

Competencies Required:

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems, preferably Navision.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with vendors and team members.
