Assumes specific duties involving direct resident care upon successful demonstration of required skills as taught and supervised by the Instructor in a classroom and clinical setting.Successfully pass the NYS Certified Nurse Aide Exam composed of both computer based written exam and a clinical skills exam monitored by a registered nurse evaluator.Demonstrates St. Peter's Health Partners Mission and Core Values.Education RequirementsMust be able to read, write and speak English; High School Diploma or equivalent life-experience preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a sincere desire to serve others.Experience RequirementsExperience in service delivery in the health care, business or domestic field is preferred. Must be able to attend the 4 weeks Certified Nurse Aide Training Course. Day Shift, 37.5 hours a week for 4 weeks, 8a – 4p; 3 weeks in a classroom setting and 1 week in a clinical setting.
