Our client, a leading organization in the environmental monitoring industry, is seeking a Quality Lab Associate I to join their team. As a Quality Lab Associate I, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting the environmental monitoring team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a background in Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology or Biological Science and 0-2 years of work related experience. which will align successfully in the organization.

 

Location: Marion (North Cove), NC. ONSITE.
Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension/conversion
Hours: 12 hour rotating shift; Hours will be 7:00 am - 7:00 pm

Position Notes:
Candidates will be required to enter clean rooms and will need to be fully gowned for that piece of the process.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform sampling to support the Environmental Monitoring Program
  • Use laboratory instrumentation and computer systems to collect and record data
  • Perform advanced assays requiring precise analytical skills and understanding of microbiological principles
  • Complete all testing, including special project / protocol testing in a timely following local procedures and cGMP regulations
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
  • Follow Good Documentation Practices.


Qualifications

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and in a timely fashion
  • Computer literate
  • Must be detail oriented, conscientious and have high reading comprehension skills
  • Must have basic understanding of laboratory instrumentation
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and peers.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology or Biological Science and 0-2 years of work related experience.
