Job Summary

This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in accordance with established standards and organizational policies.

Job Qualifications
  • Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license
  • Long-term care, rehabilitation, or assisted living experience preferred
  • Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in the state of employment
  • IV Certification required or willingness to obtain within six months of employment
  • CPR/AED Certification required or willingness to obtain within six months of employment
  • Ability to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, visitors, and staff
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Critical thinking skills
