The OpportunityIt’s an incredible time to join us: we’ve hit an inflection point with fantastic patient engagement, overwhelming demand from physicians, and have recently unlocked substantial new revenue streams for our existing customers. However, we’re still early — we want to fundamentally redesign the current paradigm of healthcare, and there are plenty of opportunities to contribute and make an outsized impact.
Your Role in the CompanyAs a founding software engineer, you'll play a crucial part and exert a substantial influence on the engineering team, our technical vision, and the company as a whole.
You'll be on the front lines with the founders, making key product decisions, launching innovative features, and playing a pivotal role in guiding and growing the engineering team. Your work will directly raise the standards for how care is orchestrated and delivered, profoundly impacting the thousands of patients who use Gradia.
What You’ll Do- Spearhead new feature initiatives spanning all parts of our tech stack, varying from backend data pipelines to frontend redesigns.
- Play a crucial role in hiring and interviewing, having a strong say in finding A players to expand the existing engineering team.
- Help set operational best practices and tech standards as we rapidly scale the team and user base.
- Move fast and ship changes that affect thousands of patients without being dragged down by bureaucratic engineering policies/oversight.
- Willing to work in person at the SF office.
- Experience architecting, developing, and testing fullstack code end-to-end.
- Experience with React, Typescript/JavaScript, Node.js.
- Know your way around AWS services.
