Overview of Role:

Arcade is seeking a highly skilled and innovative AI Research Engineer who will be creating and launching generative AI systems that solve difficult and novel tasks. This person will drive the development of cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions.

The ideal candidate is a researcher with previous experience taking a project from potential concepts to a deployable model, specializing in models that create images from multiple viewpoints, 3D meshes, or CAD-like structures. They will be a strong developer, capable of making and explaining a reusable pipeline for training and running models.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create and evaluate novel models for 3D applications.
  2. Understand, implement, and improve existing models.
  3. Maintain deterministic, repeatable, and automatable training scripts.
  4. Work with teams to deploy new models for inference.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create the right AI systems in order to meet product & business requirements.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technologies and research, and apply them to enhance the performance and capabilities of our ventures.
  7. Communicate complex AI concepts and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  1. Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  2. Research experience in generative AI, with a proven ability to take projects from concept to deployment.
  3. Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and proficiency in Python.
  4. Experience developing scalable, reusable pipelines for training, validating, and deploying AI models.
  5. Familiarity with large-scale data handling and the ability to efficiently use data for training AI models.
  6. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain AI concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working with generative AI models that solve eCommerce-specific challenges such as recommendation systems, dynamic pricing, or personalized search.
  2. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and experience with deploying AI models in cloud environments.
