We are looking for a Lead IT Business Analyst with experience in the Oil and Gas Transportation industry. The role requires strong knowledge of Nomination, Distribution, and Scheduling business processes. Key responsibilities include gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to define technical solutions.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document their requirements.
  • Create user stories to effectively communicate business needs to the development teams.
  • Develop business design documents based on the collected requirements.
  • Work alongside development and QA teams to translate business designs into technical specifications and testing approaches.
  • Partner with development teams during design, development, and testing to ensure deliverables align with business requirements.
  • Coordinate with business teams to organize training sessions before releases, as needed.
  • Collaborate with fellow Business Analysts to define the product roadmap and plan release schedules.


Requirements:


  • 5+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas Transportation industry, with a focus on Nomination, Distribution, and Scheduling domains.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus in IT.
  • In-depth understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Proficiency in managing application backlogs using tools such as ADO TFS or Jira.
  • Experience in an Agile environment, working with Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or other scaling models.
