Level II Trauma Center, provide full-service cardiovascular, offers open-heart surgery and interventional cardiology. Electrophysiology, cardiac rehabilitation, and comprehensive diagnostic services. Reports to Director Critical Care, then ACNO, then CNO.
- Oversees 12 bed CVICU and 12 bed PCU and Telemetry (Central Monitor Unit).
- 70-80 FTE's with direct reports of Clinical Nurse Coordinators.
- Licensed RN with Associate degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
- 2+ years of RECENT ACUTE CARE CVICU leadership experience REQUIRED.
- Leadership, ideally as a Manager, Supervisor, or Charge/ANM.
- NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months.
