Pinnacle Home Care, Florida’s award-winning and largest privately-owned home health agency is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate healthcare professionals to join our team of skilled home heath care providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing quality care to our patients in their homes. The Speech Therapist (ST) is a professional member of the health care team who provides Speech Therapy services to patients in compliance with all applicable practice acts. The Speech Therapist performs duties within standards of clinical practice as defined by the Department of Professional Regulation, the American Speech-Language- Hearing-Association and the policies and procedures of the agency, and functions under the direction of a physician and nursing supervisor in the deliverance of skilled Speech Therapy care to the client. 
Establishes a Speech Therapy treatment plan in consultation with the physician and revises it with the physician's approval as necessary. 
Assists in the development and implementation of the interdisciplinary client care plan as it pertains to Speech Therapy. 
Communicates with other team members and, when appropriate, instruct them in speech pathology techniques that they may use while working with the client. 
Teaches, supervises and counsels the family and client in the total Speech Therapy program and other related problems of the client at home. 
Records on a timely basis all evaluation data, treatments, and client's response to therapeutic intervention.
Supervises the Home Health Aide every 14 days when Speech Therapy is the only professional discipline involved in the client's care. 
Evaluates the effectiveness of speech pathology intervention and update the client care plan as needed.
Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy program or equivalent education. 
Must display good emotional health and be able to physically tolerate much standing, stooping, and bending; Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision and have good observational, judgment, and communication skills.
