Junior Cloud Engineer - Azure


We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based solutions primarily on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will work closely with senior engineers and architects to support the migration of enterprise applications and data to the cloud, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the migration of on-premises applications and data to the Azure cloud platform.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of cloud-based infrastructure, including virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and other Azure services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud deployments and operations.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and costs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of automation scripts for cloud provisioning and management.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of cloud security policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in cloud computing and Azure technologies.
  • Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new cloud-based technologies and services.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, data engineers, and system administrators.
  • Document and maintain technical documentation related to cloud deployments and operations.
  • Good knowledge of AI and Process Automation is a big plus.


Qualifications:


  • Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a strong preference for experience with Microsoft Azure.


Technical Skills:


  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Experience with Azure core services, including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
  • Experience with enterprise application migration to the cloud is a plus.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML and process automation tools is a plus.
