Job Summary: Are you ready to play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our distribution system? Join our dynamic team as a Dispatcher and take charge of dispatching and restoring facilities, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and communication.


Primary Job Duties:

  • Track crew locations and ongoing work on the distribution system.
  • Dispatch service personnel to respond to outage calls and emergency situations, such as 911/SWAT calls.
  • Authorize the energizing and restoration of distribution facilities.
  • Maintain accurate outage records as well as records of abnormal and defective equipment for distribution facilities.
  • Effectively operate company communication equipment.


Essential Job Functions & Tasks:

  • Promote and enforce the Company's Safety and Health programs.
  • Be knowledgeable and adhere to written company and department policy and procedures.
  • Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the Company's Corporate Compliance Policy.
  • Effectively operate company communication equipment.

  • Dispatch service personnel to respond to outage and emergency situations.
  • Authorize the energizing and restoration of distribution facilities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in electrical or electronic technology.
  • Bachelor of Science in any field or equivalent education and/or experience.

  • EEIDEB - SASS Basic Data Entry
  • EEISOPD - System Oper Power Dispatching
