Job Summary

The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for providing accurate and timely laboratory results to physicians, and performing various chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests on patient specimens to aid in diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases
  • Provide accurate and timely laboratory results to physicians
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory operations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
  • Certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist from ASCP or AMT preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 6:00am-4:30pm or 7:00am-5:30pm, with occasional weekend and holiday rotations
