Analytical Associate Scientist - Contract - Cambridge, MA

Proclinical is seeking an experienced and dedicated Analytical Associate Scientist.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role will be required to support technical programs from early development through Phase I/II and Phase III. The successful candidate will be part of the In-process Analytics (IPA) team within the Drug Substance - Technical R&D unit, focusing on executing scientific studies and routine characterization assays.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Industry or laboratory experience.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical HPLC or plate-based assays.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Experience with high throughput screening and automation technologies (preferred).
  • Understanding of polysaccharide chemistry and protein biochemistry (preferred).
  • Demonstrates critical, analytical, and synthetic abilities.
  • Strong scientific writing skills.

The Analytical Associate Scientist's responsibilities will be:

  • Execute routine characterization assays of Drug Substance, including analytical HPLC and plate-based assays.
  • Collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment and communicate effectively.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet short-term targets.
  • Seek feedback on performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure coherence and quality in scientific writing for regulatory documents.

Compensation:

  • $28 to $31 per hour
