Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Airline Booking Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist the Airline Manager in coordinating and managing bookings for our educational tours. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient travel arrangements for our clients. 


Key Responsibilities: 


  • Assist the Airline Manager with daily tasks related to airline bookings and travel coordination. 
  • Utilize the Sabre booking system to search for and book flights. 
  • Communicate with airlines and travel partners to confirm bookings and resolve any issues. 
  • Prepare and manage travel related documents. 
  • Maintain and update travel booking records and databases. 
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure all travel arrangements meet the clients’ needs and expectations. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and respond promptly to inquiries. 
  • Create and edit documents using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. 


 


 


Requirements: 


  • In the office, Monday through Friday 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. 
  • Experience with the Sabre booking system is preferred. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus. 
  • Strong problem-solving abilities. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. 


Education and Experience: 


  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Previous experience in an administrative or assistant role, preferably within the travel industry.
