Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Community Recovery Specialist to join our team. The Community Recovery Specialist will be responsible for providing support, resources, and guidance to individuals in recovery from substance abuse and addiction. This position plays a critical role in helping clients integrate back into the community, access necessary services, and maintain their recovery. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, knowledgeable about recovery processes, and skilled in community outreach.

Responsibilities:
Client Support:
- Provide one-on-one support to individuals in recovery, helping them navigate challenges and maintain sobriety.
- Develop and implement individualized recovery plans based on clients' needs and goals.
- Facilitate support groups and educational workshops on addiction recovery and relapse prevention.
- Assist clients in accessing community resources, including housing, employment, healthcare, and social services.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.

Community Outreach:
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, service providers, and support networks.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to provide comprehensive care.
- Advocate for clients' needs within the community and ensure they receive appropriate services.
- Conduct outreach activities to raise awareness about available recovery resources and support services.

Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust recovery plans as necessary.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor s degree in a related field preferred.
- Certification or training in addiction recovery support (e.g., Certified Peer Recovery Specialist) is a plus.
- Previous experience in addiction recovery, counseling, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of addiction recovery processes and community resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must pass employment screenings, including FBI clearance if applicable.

Additional Details:
- This position involves direct client interaction and requires adherence to safety and confidentiality standards.
- The role does not involve direct work with minors or working in environments where minors are present.
