What Work You Will be Responsible For:

  • Conduct partner-level compliance reviews and approve tax returns.
  • Provide client consultations on tax planning opportunities and recent tax law changes.
  • Contribute to proposal development and support new business generation efforts.
  • Meet with potential clients and build relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Expand service offerings to current clients.
  • Supervise firm engagements and special projects.
  • Manage all aspects of client engagements.
  • Oversee, train, and evaluate senior-level staff.
  • Mentor and support staff in their professional development and help grow the tax function.
  • Stay up-to-date on new tax issues and business trends impacting clients


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field
  • CPA or JD
  • 15 + years of progressive tax experience
  • 2+ years as a Partner or Director at a public accounting firm
  • 10+ years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
  • Experience working with high net-worth individual, family office clients and closely-held businesses
  • Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field
  • Experience acquiring new clients and growing a book of busines
