We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at The Good Samaritan Society. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and their families.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents. This includes assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and provide education to residents and their families.
  • May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.
  • Function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
  • Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
