Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Texas
  • 1+ years of litigation experience
  • Thorough understanding of federal and state court procedures and rules
  • Strong litigation, negotiation, and trial skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in defense litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies
  • Engage in all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
  • Develop effective case strategies in collaboration with clients and senior attorneys
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation and arbitration proceedings
  • Manage case files efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards
