BICP, a leader in Data Analytics and Cloud-based innovation platforms, is hiring a Program Manager, Data Analytics with prior experience supporting large scale, data analytics & cloud-based transformation initiatives to support one of our large Retail clients in San Diego, CA. Our Program Manager will collaborate with executives, provide strategic guidance, manage and mentor project leaders for a data-driven enterprise transformation project with high complexity and significant impact to the business. Ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years Program Management experience however we place a premium on aptitude + quality over specific years of experience.
What you bring to the table:
- Seasoned PM with specific Data Analytics experience, who can work collaboratively and guide teams to great business outcomes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, Snowflake (preferred), Databricks etc.
- Working knowledge of data visualization products such as Tableau, Microstrategy (preferred), Power BI etc.
- Develops detailed project plans and assignments, track and control the project milestones, activities and resources.
- Manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring. change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints.
- Supervision of vendor partners and guidance to the project team.
- Provides senior leadership with reports status updates via live presentations.
- Lead cross-functional project teams by prioritizing and coordinating all aspects of project execution.
- Management of relationships and deliverables across global IT and business organizations.
- Work closely with business sponsors, stakeholders and functional owners as needed to ensure well-defined business cases, strategies and project plans.
- Complete project documentation as per PMO best practices and methodology
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
- Able to work effectively with dispersed, remote and global teams when needed.
- Expertise in creating status dashboards and reports using Confluence, Jira or similar tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- SDLC Methodology - Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development.
- Strong knowledge of analytics / detail oriented / innovative problem resolution
- Provide management and strategic direction to a project team and is shares responsibility.
Additional Details:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Compensation is negotiable and based on experience and other variables including ability to be onsite vrs Remote etc.
