About The Role:

As a CBRE Property Tax Director, you will manage the property tax services required for clients in their office location or specialty field. This job is part of the Valuation function, responsible for inspecting and determining the values of land, property, and businesses.

What You'll Do:

  1. Ensure all property tax appeals are prosecuted timely and efficiently, completed accurately, and within the laws of the state.
  2. Implement critical initiatives to meet the objectives of the office.
  3. Responsible for profit and loss and budgeting for the office or specialty.
  4. Develop and implement practice policies and procedures to increase operational efficiencies.
  5. Coordinate and lead a local office/specialty, managing a team of 2-10 people.
  6. Provide formal supervision to individual employees within a single functional or operational area.
  7. Identify training needs, track performance, mentor, and motivate team members.
  8. Model behaviors consistent with the company's values.

What You'll Need:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 8-10 years of property tax advocacy experience.
  3. Supervising/leadership experience preferred.
  4. Certificates and/or Licenses as required by state licensing body.
  5. Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills, strong organizational and analytical skills.
  6. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
  7. In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles, including the ability to calculate complex figures and prepare budgets.
  8. Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
  9. Advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

Salary and Benefits:

The minimum salary for the VAS Property Tax Director position is $150,000.00 annually, and the maximum is $200,000.00 annually. The compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide benefits including 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
