Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Level 4 Data Center Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a data center environment. This role involves performing rack and stack operations, break-fix tasks, troubleshooting, and deployments. The technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of data center hardware and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rack and stack operations, including the physical installation of servers, network devices, and other hardware.
- Conduct break-fix tasks to diagnose and resolve hardware issues promptly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to data center equipment and infrastructure.
- Execute deployments of new hardware and software, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all activities and changes within the data center.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data center projects and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with data center policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data center environment.
- Strong knowledge of data center hardware, including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues.
- Experience with deployment and configuration of data center equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
