Critical Facilities EngineerWe are seeking a Critical Facility Engineer (Maintenance Technician) to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or technical role and be comfortable working on tasks that are semi-routine in nature. This role involves following standard operating procedures to ensure the efficient operation of facility components, as well as collaborating with senior staff and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility/Infrastructure Maintenance- Perform semi-routine preventative maintenance on non-critical facility components.
- Conduct repairs, maintenance, and installations of non-critical components.
- Monitor the Building Monitoring System (BMS) and respond to alarms based on standard procedures.
- Assist senior staff with higher-level repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Operate plumbing, fire suppression, and safety systems under the supervision of more experienced staff.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure maintenance is completed per company standards.
- Support the work order process for service providers, tracking work from start to finish.
- Ensure that vendor activities align with our operational procedures.
- Perform routine site logs, including permits like Maintenance Operation Protocol (MOPs) and scripts.
- Follow operating procedures to assist with on-site administration.
- Complete work requests and circuit installations as needed.
- Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining office and auxiliary equipment.
- Support senior staff with on-site incidents and directed tasks.
- Work with team members to resolve semi-routine facility issues.
- Assist senior staff on infrastructure projects and inform stakeholders about inventory needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in facility maintenance, technical support, or a related field.
- Ability to follow standard procedures with minimal supervision.

Pay Range:
The United States targeted pay range for this position is:
- San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $53,000 to $82,000 per year
- California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $49,000 to $75,000 per year
- Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $44,000 to $68,000 per year
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
