Responsibilities:
Primary focus is to drive process improvement in Manufacturing Processing and Packaging systems
Develop and deploy strategies to maximize manufacturing performance on targeted systems
Leads efforts to identify and drive cost savings projects (i.e., material optimization or waste reduction)
Creates and improves manufacturing instructions and standards to increase sustainability and reduce variation
Develops and deploys advanced data analysis tools to expose and eliminate losses
Provides technical leadership to solve problems, drive improvements in production systems and implement standards to ensure sustainment
Builds technical skills within manufacturing teams to drive out losses across processing and packaging systems
Maintains a central library of technical documentation to provide standardization and facilitate best practice sharing
Serves as a subject matter expert in the assigned technologies and platforms
Responsible to conduct yourself and those you lead in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct
Qualifications:
Years of Experience: 5+ years,
Education: Bachelor of Science Degree; Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering preferred
Experience in Food Manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods.
Experience with USDA, FDA, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
Leadership of structured problem-solving approaches such as Lean, Six-Sigma, or TPM.
Development and use of statistical models and data analytics (Corporate).
Ability to travel up to 10% as required
