Technologist Assistant

Job Summary:

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technologist Assistant to provide critical support to our imaging team. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our scanning areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Imaging Support (70%):
    • Monitor and adjust patient schedules to ensure timely completion of exams
    • Communicate effectively with technologists to ensure seamless workflow
    • Prepare patient areas for exams, including setting up equipment and supplies
    • Restock and maintain a clean and organized work environment
    • Restore and network previous exams for next day's patients
  • Cleaning and Organization (20%):
    • Stock and clean work and control areas, including MRI rooms
    • Ensure patient areas are stocked and organized
    • Clean and stock patient prep room and restroom
    • Organize and clean supply closet and computer rooms
    • Check with MRI technologists, Medical Records, and Front Office for additional duties as needed
  • Additional Duties (10%):
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management
