About the Role


As a Founding Infrastructure Engineer, you will build and maintain the scalable and secure infrastructure that powers our AI-driven applications. You'll work with terabytes of data processed through our Rust-based ETL pipelines and ensure that our systems are robust and efficient. This role is critical for supporting our rapid growth and delivering a reliable experience to our users.


Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Manage and optimize our Rust-based ETL processes handling terabytes of data
  • Ensure system security and compliance with best practices
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, and alerting processes
  • Write technical documentation for infrastructure and deployment procedures
  • Lead technical projects focused on infrastructure improvements
  • Contribute to recruiting efforts to expand the infrastructure team


Qualifications

  • Must have startup experience and US work authorization
  • Proven experience in building and managing scalable cloud infrastructures
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Experience with Rust or other systems programming languages
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible
  • Strong understanding of networking, security protocols, and best practices
  • Ability to make speed vs. quality trade-offs aligned with business needs
  • Enthusiasm for solving complex infrastructure problems end-to-end


Nice to Have

  • Experience with ETL processes and big data management
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Formal degrees or certifications in Computer Science or related fields

Recently, we raised a seed round from top Silicon Valley VCs and angel investors.
