Anesthesiologist Requirements: * A degree in medicine with a 4-year residency in anesthesiology. * Must be BE/BC * A valid state license and malpractice insurance. * Strong detail-oriented ability. * Excellent communication skills. * Ability to make quick decisions in a highly stressful environment. Anesthesiologist Responsibilities: * Pre-anesthesia assessment including assessing patients' conditions through analysis of medical history. * Obtains and/or verifies patient consent and e xplains to patients the surgical process * Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia * Administers anesthesia and monitors patients' vital signs during medical and surgical procedures, and making appropriate adjustments in anesthesia to ensure patient comfort. * Monitors patients' vital signs and pain management after surgical and medical procedures to ensure patient comfort.
