Network Engineer


TalentoHC is collaborating with a private organization aiming to enhance their Network capabilities by adding a Network Engineer to join the team. As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. Your expertise in Cisco technologies, network security, and troubleshooting will be essential in ensuring optimal network performance and reliability.


This will be a full-time contract-to-hire position with our client working 40 hours per week


Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and provide technical support to end-users.
  • Configure and manage VPNs, wireless networks, and network security protocols.
  • Monitor network performance and optimize network resources.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure network compatibility with other systems and applications.
  • Stay updated on emerging network technologies and industry best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.) and network architectures.
  • Proficiency in Cisco networking technologies (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Experience with network security best practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CCNA or CCNP certifications preferred.
