The base rate is $35.04/hr, however other rates may apply depending on job assignment within the scope of the job description.General Summary:Installation and maintenance of mechanical and HVAC infrastructure and equipment, plumbing, and facility finishes, and provision of client utility services in adherence with safety requirements/codesPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:Install, maintain and repair mechanical, plumbing, HVAC equipment and apparatus, and facility finishes in the facilitiesProvide client utility services including, compressed air, water, and drainsOperate the HVAC and energy management computer systems of the facilitiesPrepare working sketches from blueprints and schematicsMaintain condition of HVAC and mechanical infrastructure in accordance with safety/code requirementsResolve normal technical field problemsReport inventory of all engineering equipment and suppliesMake recommendations to Chief Building Engineer with regards to equipment and materials neededStand shift as Building OperatorParticipate in maintaining a safe working environmentMinor repairs necessary for building operation efficiencyOther duties as assignedQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
