Job Summary:

The Billing Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the billing team, ensuring accurate and timely billing, and optimizing billing processes. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the billing team, including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Billing Operations: Ensure accurate and timely billing of clients, including invoice preparation, review, and approval.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate billing processes, improving efficiency and reducing errors.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze billing data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant billing regulations and company policies.
  • Customer Service: Resolve billing inquiries and issues from clients and internal departments.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on key billing metrics and performance indicators.


Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
  • 3+ years of billing experience
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Physical Requirements:

Primarily sedentary work, with occasional lifting of files and bending or standing as needed.
