Job Title: Estimator - Steelwork

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Salary: $100k - $130k


The Company

Our client is a full-service AISC steel fabricator and erector, specializing in the design, fabrication, and installation of structural steel for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. They are dedicated to delivering high-quality structural solutions with precision and efficiency, from pre-construction through to final installation. They prioritize innovation, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence in every project we complete.


Responsibilities.

  • Create estimates for Steelwork projects by working with different teams to ensure smooth coordination in fabrication, purchasing, and installation.
  • Estimate costs based on structural drawings and manage bids with a good understanding of steel fabrication standards.
  • Help field teams with estimates for Change Orders, RFPs, and clarify RFIs.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, including quantity take-offs, line-item summaries, and subcontractor breakdowns.


Required

• 3 years’ experience estimating

• 2 years’ experience working within the structural or Misc steelwork industry
