Java Full Stack Developer with AWS/Azure (On Site)

We are seeking a Java Full Stack lead with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team.

Location: Mountain View, CA (On Site)

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States.


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using SQL Server, SQL, Angular JS, Azure, and JavaScript.
  2. Java, Apache Kafka, Postgres, dynamic db, spring boot, AWS + Experience in developing payment solution.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features.
  4. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  5. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  6. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  7. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  8. Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  9. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  10. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the application remains current and competitive.
  11. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
  12. Ensure that all development activities comply with established standards and best practices.
  13. Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing and high-quality releases.
  14. Document software designs, code, and processes for future reference and maintenance.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $68K - $130K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
