Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Monitor network alerts and system performance, taking proactive measures to prevent issues.
- Respond to and manage support emails, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Escalate unresolved or critical issues to the L3 support team.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless network operations across various platforms and locations.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency with Cisco Nexus and VxLAN technologies.
- Experience working in data center environments.
- Familiarity with network routing and switching.
- Ability to perform packet captures and analyze network traffic using tools like Wireshark.
- Knowledge of Cisco and Juniper network systems.
- Understanding of virtual platforms and wireless network technologies.
Qualifications:
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, with on-call duties as needed.
- Strong experience with Cisco and Juniper network equipment.
- Proficiency in managing virtual platforms and wireless networks.
- Expertise in network route/switch configurations.
- Skilled in packet capture and analysis using Wireshark.
Projects:
- Support and maintain the client's enterprise network, including legacy data centers, private cloud infrastructure, and campus buildings.
- Manage and optimize the edge network, covering stores, distribution centers, and public cloud environments.
