About the role

As a Founding Engineer, you’ll go beyond just coding—you’ll help define the very foundation of our product and company. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and want to make a direct and lasting impact, we’d love to meet you.

This is the perfect role for someone who thrives on ownership, creativity, and the ability to solve complex technical challenges. You’ll get the freedom to design scalable systems, innovate in a greenfield environment, and work directly with customers to build and iterate the best solutions possible.

What you’ll be working on
  1. Build and scale APIs: Design, deploy, and optimize secure, high-performance APIs that will power the core of our platform.
  2. Architect scalable systems: Lead the design of scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure that can grow with our business.
  3. Lead DevOps and automation: Own the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, logging, and monitoring to ensure seamless deployments.
  4. Ensure security and compliance: Implement best-in-class security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  5. Collaborate with customers: Partner closely with our customers to seamlessly integrate solutions and gather feedback to continually improve the product.

  • Languages: Python, JavaScript
  • Cloud: AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, SageMaker, ECS, ECR)
  • Containers: Docker
  • Deployment: Porter

  • Experience: 3+ years of building high-availability systems in a senior/staff role or similar
  • Problem solver: Strong engineering background with deep knowledge of best practices and design patterns.
  • Self-starter: Proactive and comfortable navigating ambiguity, driving initiatives, and finding creative solutions.
  • Adaptability: You’re flexible and thrive in an evolving, fast-moving startup environment.
  • Product-focused: You align technical decisions with the overall business goals and user needs, ensuring the product’s success.
